1Beschluss von Rat und Volk; die Aka-
2mantis hatte die Prytanie inne; Phelleus war Sekretär;
3Antigenes war Archon; Sibyrtios war Vorsteher;
4Alkibiades stellte den Antrag: dass für den Bau der Schif-
5fe als Darlehen aufnehmen die Strategen unter Pe-
6rikles Geld von den amtierenden
7Apodekten für die Schiffsbaumeister. Was sie als Darlehen
8aufgenommen haben, soll ihnen wieder zurückzahlen die Tri-
9erenbau-Komission. Die auszufahren beauftragt sind, sollen
10zwecks Bemannung der Schiffe so rasch wie möglich ent-
11senden die Strategen; falls nicht, sollen sie verklagt
12werden wegen Verrats vor dem Gerichtshof. Die
13Strategen aber sollen bei dem, der nicht wollens ist auszu-
14fahren, das Verfahren einleiten. Dass für den Transport der Schiffe,
15die die Schiffsbaumeister aus Makedonien
16schicken, der Rat Sorge trage, dass
17sie auf das Schnellste nach Athen geschickt und be-
18mannt werden und (auf ihnen) nach Ionien gebracht wird das
19Heer, um den bestmöglichen Schutz wahrzunehmen.
20Wenn einer nicht denentsprechend handelt, dass er als Buße zah-
21le zehntausend Drachmen, zu weihen der Athe-
22na; dass dem ersten, der eingetrifft und über-
23führt das Schiff, man eine Prämie gebe, so wie es be-
24schließt das Volk. ‒ Da Archelas sowohl
25jetzt als auch in der Zeit davor ein Mann war
26mit Verdiensten um die Athener, und diejenigen Athener,
27die ausgelaufen waren, aufgenommen und in das
28Lager bei Pydna geschickt hat und
29Gutes getan hat für das Lager der Athener
30und gegeben hat Holz und Ruder und
31anderes Vergünstigungen, um die sie ihn baten, dass
32man Lob sage Archelas als einem Mann mit Verdiensten
33und willig, nach Kräften Gutes zu
34tun; und für das, was er an Wohltaten erwiesen hat der Stadt
35und dem Volk der Athener, aufzeichne
36ihn und die Kinder als proxenoi und Wohltä-
37ter auf der (Akro)polis auf einer steinernen Stele und Sor-
