9Nausistratos aus dem Demos Prospalta und
10seine Mitvorsitzenden. Beschluss des Volkes;
11Philippides S.d. Philomelos aus dem Demos Paiania
12stellte den Antrag: Da die Gesandten,
13die entsandt waren zu
14König Kassandros, darlegen,
15dass Poseidippos, der sich zusammen mit
16ihnen dort aufhielt, ihnen von Nutzen
17war und erzeigt hat
18das Wohlwollen, das er für das
19Volk der Athener hatte, wolle beschließen
20das Volk: dass man belobige Poseidippos
21S.d. Bakchios aus dem Demos Kothokidai und ihn
22bekränze mit einem Olivenkranz; –
23Damit möglichst viele ehrgeizig
24Dienste erweisen im Interesse

15that Poseidippos who accompanied them
16on their mission was useful
17to them in that he demonstrated

19Athenian People, the People shall
20decide: to praise Poseidippos

22crown him with a foliage crown,

24may show love of honour in providing service

27inscribe this decree
28on a stone stele and stand

30inscribing the stele the
