1Zu Glück und Heil! Folgendes haben entworfen die gewählten Mitglieder der Kommission
2über die Opfer und die anderen Ehren, die für König Eumenes veranstaltet
3werden, und zu welchen Bedingungen man das Priestertum verkaufen soll,
4Leonidas S. d. Dioskouridas, Didymarchos S.d. Sostratos, Makarinos
5S.d. Aristarchos: der Käufer des Priestertums des Königs Eu-
6menes soll unversehrt sein und gesund und nicht jünger als acht Jahre.
7Als Ehrengaben soll er nehmen von allen Opfertieren die Haut, von den
8Jährlingen auch den Schenkel. Er soll die Opfer für alle Opfernden auflegen.
9Er soll einen Kranz tragen bei den Opfern und den Ehren und
10den Spielen, die dem König Eumenes veranstaltet werden. Er soll Trankopfer
11darbringen bei allen anderen Spielen wie auch die anderen Priester, und
12soll auf dem Ehrenplatz sitzen. Er soll auch befreit sein von allen Liturgien
13außer von der Trierarchie. Die Poleten sollen das Priestertum
14des Königs Eumenes verkaufen im Monat Petageitnyos nach dem monarchos .
15Den Preis wird er an die Schatzmeister zahlen. Er wird drei
16Raten zahlen, die erste im Monat Kaphisios nach dem monarchos

1For good fortune: the following was drawn up by the men elected
2concerning the the sacrifices and the other honors that are carried
3out for King Eumenes and on what terms the priesthood must be sold,
4Leonidas son of Dioskouridas, Didymarchos son of Sostratos, Makarinos
5son of Aristarchos: the buyer of the priesterhood of King Eumenes
6is to be undamaged and healthy and not younger than eight years;
7he is to receive as perquisites from all sacrificed animals the skin, from
8the yearlings also a leg; he is to set out the victims for all who sacrifice;
9he is to wear a crown at the sacrifices and the honors and the
10contests that are celebrated for King Eumenes; he is to poor libations
11at all the other contests as also to the other priestsr, and
12is to have front row seats; he is to be excused from all liturgies
13except trierarchy; the poletai are to sell the priesthood
14of King Eumenes in the month Petageitnyos under monarchos;
15he will deposit the price with the treasureres; he will make three
16deposits, the forst in the month Kaphisios after monarchos
