1ἁ δὲ πρᾶξις ἔστω τᾶι ἱερείαι κατὰ τῶν μὴ ἐπιτελεσάντων τ[ὰ γεγραμμέ]–
2να καθάπερ ἐγ δίκας· ὅπως δὲ μηδεμία ἀντιλογία γίνηται ὁπ̣[οθενοῦν μη]–

11Ἀφροδίται ἐπὶ μὲν βοῒ δραχμὰς δύο, ἐπὶ δὲ τοῖς ἄλλοις τῶν μὲν τε–
12λείων δραχμάν, τῶν δὲ ἀτελείων τριώβολ<ο>ν̣, ὄρν{ις}ιθος δὲ ὀβολόν,
13χωρὶ τῶν προδιατεταγμένων κατὰ τάνδε τὰν διαγραφάν· ἐξέσστ<ῶ>
14δὲ τᾷ ἱερείᾳ καὶ ἀπομίσθωσιν ποιήσασθαι τούτων· ὁ δὲ ἀπομισθω–
15σάμενος ἐχέτω τὰν ἐξουσ{ι}ίαν πράσσεσθαι [κ]αθὰ καὶ τὰν ἱέρειαν γέ–
16γραπται· τᾶν δὲ κλαικῶν τῶν θησαυρῶν κυριευόντω τοὶ προστάται
17καὶ ἀνοιγόντω μετὰ τᾶς ἱερείας καθ᾿ ἕκαστον ἐνιαυτὸν ἐμ μηνὶ Δα–

19τω ἐπὶ τὰν δαμοσίαν τράπεζαν ἐς τὸν ὑφεστακότα τᾶς θεοῦ λόγον

26θῶντι σὺν τῶι πρότερον καταβαλλομένωι δραχμὰς πέντε ποιούμε–
27νοι τὰν καταβολὰν ἐπὶ τὸς ταμίας· διδόντω δὲ ἐς ἀπαρχὰν καὶ τοὶ

1die Eintreibung gegen diejenigen, die die Vorschriften nicht erfüllen, soll der Priesterin zustehen
2wie aufgrund eines Gerichtsurteils. Damit aber kein Streit entsteht, woraus auch immer,
3über den Wert der Opfertiere, ist es jedem Opfernden erlaubt, wenn
4er will, von dem, was der Göttin zu opfern würdig ist, anstelle der Ehrengaben
5die festegelegte (Summe) zu zahlen. Die Soldaten auf den großen Kriegsschiffen, wenn
6sie die Fahrt beenden, sollen der Aphrodite Pontia opfern auf dem
7oben bezeichneten Altar ein ausgewachsenes Opfertier von dreißig Drachmen
8Wert von jeder Zeltmannschaft oder anstelle der Ehrengaben pro Zeltmannschaft
9der Priesterin fünfzehn Drachmen zahlen und in den Opferstock eine Drachme.
10Als Spende sollen auch alle anderen, die opfern, der Aphrodite in den Opferstock
11legen für ein Rind: zwei Drachmen, für die anderen Opfertiere: die ausgewachsen
12(eine) Drachme, die nicht ausgewachsenen drei Obolen, pro Vogel (eine) Obole,
13zusätzlich zu dem, was oben festgelegt wurde entsprechend diesem Reglement. Es sei
14der Priesterin erlaubt, eine Verpachtung dieser (Einnahmen) vorzunehmen. Der Pächter
15soll dieselbe Vollmacht zur Eintreibung haben, wie für die Priesterin vorgeschrieben
16ist. Die Vorsteher sollen die Gewalt über die Schlüssel für die Opferstöcke haben
17und sie zusammen mit der Priesterin öffnen jährlich im Monat Da-
18lios, und die Hälfte (der Spenden) soll der Priesterin sein, die andere Hälfte sollen sie
19der öffentlichen Bank übersenden auf das vorhandene Konto der Göttin
20und die Rechnung in das öffentliche Archiv verfügen. Dieses Geld
21soll bestimmt sein für Bauarbeiten, die die Volksversammlung beschließt, und für
22die Reparatur des Heiligtums. Wenn aber jemand zur Abstimmung bringt, das (Geld) aus den
23Opferstöcken anders zu verwenden, oder ein Vorsteher dies auf die Tagesordnung setzt, soll
24jeder der Verantwortlichen tausend Drachmen an Aphrodite zahlen, und der Antrag sei ungültig.
25Spenden sollen auch die Freigelassenen in dem Jahr, in dem sie freigelassen werden,
26zusätzlich zu den bereits früher gezahlten (Gebühren) fünf Drachmen, wobei sie die
27Zahlung an die Schatzmeister machen. Als Spende sollen auch geben die
28Fischer, die aus der Stadt segeln, und die Schiffseigner, die um
29das Land segeln, pro Schiff jährlich fünf Drachmen. Wenn aber jemand
30etwas von dem, was in diesem Reglement geschrieben ist, nicht ausführt
31oder nicht opfert gemäß den Festlegungen, soll er der Priesterin die für
32jedes (Vergehen) vorgeschriebene Strafe zahlen, die Eintreibung aber stehe ihr zu wie aufgrund eines
33Gerichtsurteils. Ebenso auch wenn die Priesterin etwas von dem ihr gemäß dieses Reglements
34Vorgeschriebenen nicht ausführt, soll sie als Strafe tausend Drachmen zahlen an Aphrodi-
35te, und jeder, der will, kann sie anzeigen gemäß dem Gesetz. Beim Verkauf des Priestertums
36sollen die Vorsteher der Aphrodite Pandamos opfern eine junge Kuh
37von sechshundert Drachmen. Die angefallenen Kosten für das Opfer
38und die Aufzeichnung des Reglements sollen zunächst die Schatzmeister bezahlen und
39abrechnen mit den anderen Ausgaben. Die Käuferin des Priestertums soll
40lebenslang Priesterin sein. Sie soll den Kaufpreis abzahlen in drei Raten, die erste im
41Monat Alseios unter dem monarchos Chairedamos, die zweite im Monat Batromios
42nach dem monarchos Chairedamos, die dritte im Monat Dalios unter
43demselben monarchos. Und wenn das Volk in frommer Gesinnung errichtet haben wird
44andere Nutzbauten bei dem Heiligtum am Meer, soll die Priesterin auch diese wirtschaftlich
45nutzen können. Die Poleten sollen verdingen, dass dieses Reglement aufgeschrieben wird
46auf eine steinerne Stele und aufgestellt wird beim Altar der Aphrodite Pontia;
47sie sollen auch verdingen die Weihe der Priesterin gemäß den Gesetzen und
48dem Reglement. Die angefallenen Kosten für die Aufzeichnung des Reglements
49und die Stele und die Weihe der Priesterin und das Opfer beim Verkauf
50des Priestertums soll die Käuferin des Priestertums erlegen zusammen mit der ersten Rate.

7aforesaid altar an adult victim worth drachmas from each
8tent or deposit as gifts for the priestess fifteen drachmas for each
9tent and in the treasury a drachma;
10all others who sacrifice are to dedicate to Aphrodite two drachmas
11in the treasury for a bovine, for other victims, if adult
12one drachma, if immature three obols, for a bird one obol,
13except for those already specified in this regulation; it is permitted
14to the priestess also to let a contract for these things; the contracting party
15is to have power to collect as is prescribed for the priestess;

41month Alseios under monarchos Chairedamos, the second in the month Batromios
42after monarchos Chairedamos, the third in the month Dalios under
43the same monarchos. and when the people, piously disposed, have constructed
44further facilities at the temple by the sea, the priestess is to have the enjoyment
45of these too; the poletai are to contract to inscribe this regulation
46on a stone stele and set it up beside the altar of Aphrodite Pontia;
