25νέστερον συντελῶνται, ἃς μὲν θύει ὁ μόναρχος καὶ τοὶ ἱερο–
26ποιοὶ, θυόντω τ̣ὰ ἱερεῖα ποτὶ τὸ διαγραφόμενον αὐτοῖς ἀργύ–

4zu Glück und Heil! Folgendes haben verfasst die Vorsteher Philippos S.d.
5Philon, Sostratos S.d. Philinos, Lampias S.d. Philippos, Kallippos
6S.d. Kallippos, durch Adoption S.d. Herakleitos, Eukarpos S.d.
7Kleonikos, und der Sekretär des Rates Herakleitos S.d. Iatrokles,
8über das Priestertum des Herakles Kallinikos auf der
9Agora und am Hafen: Die Vorsteher sollen, wenn sie im Begriff sind, das
10Priestertum zu verkaufen, jedem der beiden Götter ein Opfertier
11von einhundert Drachmen opfern für das Heil der Bürger und der
12Bürgerinnen und der Bewohner in der Stadt; die Schatzmeister sollen ihnen zuvor
13auszahlen das für das Opfer vorgeschriebene Geld.
14Die Poleten sollen das Priestertum verkaufen im Monat
15Panamos am ersten. Der Käufer soll gesund sein und
16unversehrt und nicht jünger als zehn Jahre. Er soll lebenslang Priester sein.
17Er soll frei sein von allen Liturgien außer von Lampadarchie
18und Trierarchie; er sei auch frei von der Getreideaufsicht und der Pflicht,
19Römer zu beherbergen, und von jeglichem Monatsamt, für das ihn das Volk wählt.
20Er soll auch auf dem Ehrenplatz sitzen und Trankopfer darbringen bei
21allen chorischen Spielen gemeinsam mit den anderen Priestern öffentlicher Kulte,
22und er soll einen strahlend weißen Umhang tragen; er soll bekränzt sein
23mit einem Kranz aus Pappellaub, soll auch eine Kette und goldene
24Ringe haben. Damit auch noch glänzender die Opfer für die Götter
25ausgeführt werden, die der monarchos opfert und die  hieropoioi,
26sollen sie die Opfer darbringen entsprechend des ihnen von den Schatzmeistern
27angewiesenen Geldes. Und damit das Volk sichtbar die Ehren der
28Götter mehrt, sollen die Verwalter des Vermögens des
29Herakles Kallinikos den Vorstehern anweisen
30für das Opfer: den im Sommerhalbjahr amtierenden am ersten
31Artamitios fünfzig Drachmen; entsprechend sollen sie anweisen
32auch den amtierenden Vorstehern fünfzig Drachmen für
33das Opfer, wenn die Weihe des Priesters und der Priesterin vollzogen
34wird. Die Empfänger sollen in Höhe des ihnen überwiesenen Geldes
35opfern. Es sollen auch diejenigen opfern, die in die Bürgergemeinschaft kommen,
36wenn ihr Bürgerrecht die Bestätigung des Gerichtes erhält,
37jeder von ihnen ein Opfertier von nicht weniger als - - Drachmen Wert.

5Philon, Sostratos son of Philinos, Lampias son of Philippos, Kallippos
6son of Kallippos but by adoption son of Herakleitos, Eukarpos son of
7Kleonikos, and secretary of the council Herakleitos son of Iatrokles
8concerning the priesthood of Herakles Kallinikos in the
9agora and the harbor: the prostatai, when they are going to sell
10the priesthood, are to sacrifice to each of the gods a
11victim worth one hundred drachmas for health of the citizens, men and
12women, and of residents in the city; the treasurers are to advance
13to them for the sacrifice the prescribed money;
14the poletai are to sell the priesthood in the month
15Panamos, on the first; the buyer is to be healthy and undamaged
16and not younger than ten years; he is to be priest for life;
17he is to be exempt from all liturgies except lampadarchy
18and trierarchy; he is also to be released from grain-supervision and from hosting
19Romans and from every month-priesthood for which the people hold
20elections; he is also to have front-row seating and to pour libations at all
21the choral competitions together with the other public priests,
22and to wear a white chiton; and he is to be crowned
23with white poplar, and to have a band(?) and gold
24rings; and so that the sacrifices to these gods that the monarchos and the hieropoioi
25sacrifice may be celebrated with more splendor,
26they are to sacrifice the victim commensurate with the money registered for them
27by the treasurers; and so that the people be manifest as joining in
28increasing the honors of the gods, the managers of the money of
29Herakles Kallinikos are to resgister for the prostatai
30for sacrifice: for those in office in the summer semester
31fifty drachmas on the first of Artamitios, likewise also to register
32for the prostatai in office fifty drachmas for sacrifice
33when the inauguration of the priest and priestess is conducted;
34those registered are to sacrifice commensurate with the money
35registered for them; and those who are becoming members of the polity,
36when the state has received confirmation from the court,
37are each of them to sacrifice a victim worth not less than - - drachmas;
